Cookie Policy
Which cookies and local storage we use, and why.

1. What we use
MapsCrawler primarily uses local storage in your browser, not tracking cookies. This storage is needed to keep you logged in and to remember a few preferences.
2. Functional storage
Session storage from the authentication service: keeps you logged in and refreshes your session. Without this storage you cannot use the tool.
Cookie choice: we store your choice from the cookie banner locally, so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit.
Preferences in the tool, such as filters, your language choice, or the setting to hide chains, may also be stored locally.
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
We currently do not place analytics or marketing cookies and do not share data with advertising networks. If that changes, we will ask for your consent beforehand and update this page.
4. Third parties
Map data is retrieved server-side via the Google Maps and Places API, so Google generally does not place cookies directly in your browser via this site. External fonts are loaded via Google Fonts.
5. Changing your choice
You can review your choice at any time by clearing this site's local storage in your browser settings. The banner will then appear again. Note that clearing storage will also log you out.
